Clinical Educator and Advanced Myotherapist

A Somerville local, Shae has been practicing Myotherapy for nearly 2 decades. During this time Shae has worked in a number of multidisciplinary clinics where she has gained invaluable knowledge and experience working alongside physiotherapists, podiatrists, sports physicians, pilates instructors, and exercise physiologists. Shae has also lectured at Chisholm TAFE, and worked with the Hawthorn Football Club.

Shae has a passion for assisting people to live a more comfortable lifestyle, and focuses on a holistic approach to restore bodies back to optimal health. Through her hands-on treatment and dry needle skills, Shae carefully assess and identifies the underlying factors with compassion, and a wealth of knowledge.

Shae has represented Australia for the past 15 years at the Women’s Baseball World Cup, and has traveled and competed around the world as a trailblazer for her sport. Even being the first non-national female baseball player to play professionally in Japan!

“As any enthusiastic athlete I have suffered many injuries myself over my 20-year career. I believe that having my own struggles with my body, I have been able to grow as a therapist. Shae has a strong interest in neck and shoulder complaints for swimmers, athletes, fitness instructors, runners, footballers, dancers and cyclists. She also enjoys caring for postural issues, injury management and general wellbeing.

Virginia (Gin) Kalms


Graduating her Diploma of Remedial Massage from Victoria University in 2005, Gin’s vast experience stems from working across a multitude of mixed-modality clinics both here and in Sydney.  Her body knowledge is enriched by her love of anatomy, yoga instruction and a keen interest in the function of fascia within our body.

After living abroad in Asia and the USA, Gin has returned home with her family. A busy mum of two active daughters and young dog they keep busy bouncing between softball, swimming and regular basketball activities, with a special love for the all water sports especially stand-up paddle boarding.

Wanting to further her career Gin went on to study an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy, gaining qualification in 2021.

Natasha Gilbert


A busy mum of two, Natasha came across infant massage to help sooth her daughters and has never looked back. Tash went on to become a Reiki Practitioner witnessing first-hand the healing powers of touch and this passion spurred her on to complete the Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2019. Wanting to expand her knowledge and skills Natasha underwent further studies, completing her Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy  in 2021.

With a passion to help chronic pain sufferers and relaxation-based treatments it may surprise you to know that Tash has also worked with Melbourne Football Clubs VFL team. Due to this varied experience Tash brings both a remedial and relaxing vibe to all her treatments.

Tash is a positive advocate for all womens health and wellbeing, both mental and physical.

Amy Gerreyn


With a keen interest in health and movement, Amy found Remedial Massage to be the obvious next-step in her career in supporting healthy bodies.

Amy has been a Calisthenics coach and competitor for many years, using knowledge gained from her Diploma of Remedial Massage to better coach her pupils. With a special interest for clients dealing with stress, anxiety, immune-based conditions and fibromyalgia, Amy gently seeks to improve quality of movement in each client and educate them further in self-care.

Amy has worked with a variety of clients, including elite athletes, and will always tailor treatments specific to suit each and every client.

Amy completed her Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy in 2021.

Tristan Voelkl


Tristan’s love of Myotherapy has developed over years of supporting and participating in local sport.  From Cricket and Football to winning state-level medals in Surfboat Rowing, Tristan understands the importance of maintaining a sports body for optimal performance when it counts most!
He loves nothing more than helping his clients hit their goals, from weekend-warriors and gym-lovers to new-runners and high-end sport. Tristan can help get your body back on track and keep it there.

Emma Bailey


After 15 years as a Travel Agent, Emma decided the time was right for a career change. She desired to be in a position where her caring & friendly nature and passion to help people would be most suited.
This was when she began her career in Myotherapy & Remedial Massage.

She enjoys helping her clients reduce their pain, stress & tension & increase their mobility & function & improve quality of life.

Emma enjoys using a variety of techniques in her treatments including massage, mobilisation, dry needling & cupping. She prides herself in not only treating her client’s symptoms but also adding an element of education into her Myotherapy treatments such as stretching & exercises

to incorporate into their daily routine & improve their treatment outcome.

Emma can offer a tailored treatment plan for pregnancy, stress relief, pain management, chronic injuries and illness.

She is a current member of AAMT and will be undertaking further studies in Jaw Dysfunction & Mat Pilates to be able to offer even more treatment options to her clients in future.

When Emma isn’t working you’ll find her walking her fur baby, enjoying food & wine with friends, or having nerf wars with her partner & his 6 year old daughter.
